Basic rules

each step is described as a sequence of letters

  syntax: ([-'])[MW][LR][FBSCP]([X8G...])

Examples

Sequence of steps

The best way to record a sequence of steps is to create a 3-column table: one column for the step #, one for the M steps, one for the W. Example:

#MW
1 MRB WLF
. ... ...

The usage of a column for the steps # allows you to add descriptive text to a certain step that might be long and then clearly indicate the next step that falls on the beat.

One might add an extra column 'remarks' for details like: loosen embrace, M does counter movement
