I have been looking for a clear, concise way of writing down tango steps. It's the kind of thing you do right after a tango lesson, when you want to remember what the Leader/Follower steps were like, so you can repeat them 1 week or month later. I have found some systems on different websites, but nothing satisfying:

Labanotation
There are some prior efforts on gotan.ch (http://www.gotan.ch/labanotation.html) but mostly for dance professionals.
The Labanotation (http://dancenotation.org/DNB/lnbasics/frame0.html) is quite complete, but difficult to grasp for tango amateurs. (check basics (http://dancenotation.org/DNB/lnbasics/frame0.html))
